Sinner

Sinner is the third and final installment in Ted Dekker's Paradise Trilogy. The story takes place in the year 2034.
Billy Rediger and Darcy Lange are the only two survivors of a research program gone bad, called Project Showdown*. 13 years after they left the program, they discover that as a result of Project Showdown, they have extraordinary powers. Billy can now read peoples thought, and Darcy can more or less control them. Meanwhile, Johnny Drake is hiding in the state of Nevada with his fiancee Kelly. All are wrapped up in the countries battle for tolerance and against free speech. But an evil that Billy and Darcy created is also coming to snuff out the light of truth...
